An Overview of Bioplastics

Abstract

Bioplastics are plastics in which all carbon is derived from renewable feedstocks. They could possibly be biodegradable. Bio based plastics contain both renewable and fossil-fuel-based carbon. The rate of bio based fixings and the conditions, under which the bio based item may biodegrade, if by any means, differ broadly.
