Genetic Counselling: A Review

Abstract

Genetic counselling mainly involves a phenomenon of communication and education that addresses: diagnosis, management and prognosis, estimation and communication of risks mainly concerning with the genetic disorder. This paper provides information about steps in genetic counselling and the role of genetic counsellors.
