Kuljeet Kaur, Himanshu Jain, Kirandeep Kaur, Amrik Singh

Abstract

This study focused into the development of a curcumin-loaded emulgel. Different concentrations of Carbopol were used to formulate these emulgel. The in vitro evaluation of these formulations was carried out, focusing on parameters such as viscosity, rheology, pH, microbiological assay, and swelling index. The findings shed light on the promising potential of curcumin-loaded emulgels as a delivery system for herbal therapeutic carriers. The results contribute to the advancement of innovative pharmaceutical formulations that harness the power of curcumin for various therapeutic applications.
