A Look on How Microalgae Could Be Used to Make Biofuel

Meenu Yadav, Saddam Rajput

Abstract

Algae's potential as a reliable biofuel source has been widely investigated. The research confirms the various steps of biofuel production and sheds light on third-generation biofuels. With a detailed investigation of the growth, extraction, and processing operations to the finished product, microalgae have now been recognised as a remarkable resource. Such in examination of translation procedures as well as the issues that arise from them is provided. Major approaches are used to investigate the effectiveness of algal fuel in I/C engines. Several obstacles must be overcome before microalgae can be used as a sustainable energy source. The numerous pyrolysis procedures utilised to remove microalgae's principal product have also been detailed. Using two-stage cultivation procedures to cultivate microalgae is incredibly successful. Although microalgae are the most promising alternative, pricing and biofuel manufacturing remained obstacles. Moreover, cultivating microalgae utilising two-stage culture processes Microalgae cultivation using two-stage cultivation procedures, on the other hand, is extremely successful. This detailed evaluation is a valuable tool for identifying, innovating, and operating microalgae as a viable biofuel source.
