Gene Editing with CRISPR Technology to Combat for Healthier Future

Abstract

Scientists are fuelled with excitement when it comes to the word genome editing which involves the insertion, deletion, or replacement of DNA in the genome of a living organism using “molecular scissors.” People liken it to the find and replace words used to correct misspellings in documents written on a computer. Instead of fixing words, gene editing rewrites DNA, the biological code that makes up the instruction manuals of living organisms. The future of CRISPR has been experimented all over the globe for gene editing.
