A Brief Review on the Properties and Functions of Endothelial Cells

Abstract


Endothelial cells form the boundary of the entire vascular system, including heart to the smallest capillary and blood vessel, and control the passage of materials, such as, white blood cells—to and fro from the target site. This article describes a brief review on the different properties and functions of endothelial cells.
