Food Deserts: A Review

Abstract


Nourishment access among low-income populations has long been a concern in the United States. Recent research on the geographic dimensions of access has aimed on economically deprived areas with little retail food activity, referred to as 'food deserts.' The review paper garners about the view of food desert and the strategies and policies implemented to reduce the food deserts.
