Abstract

ABSTRACT
Algae are the main plant of the any kinds of the ecosystem; they are the main components of the aquatic ecosystem, they are the main part of the biogeochemical cycles and the food chains, they are the primary producers of the aquatic ecosystem and the other kinds of the ecosystems, in this research work we are trying to work on the biodiversity of the algae composition of the Baretha dam of the Baratpur distract of the Rajasthan. We isolates the algae from the several depth and then study them with the help of the microscope, but one of the another observation is that due to the anthropogenic sources the dam is degrading its beauty and the cleanliness of the water, so the water body needs to be conserve and they needs to be protects. In our analysis we found the many members of the chlorophyceae and the some of the members of the cyanophyceae, some genera of the diatoms are also observed. There are tremendous seasonal variations in the quantity and the quality of the algae composition of the dams. The physical and chemical and biological features of the water also affected the quality of the algae.
