Sleeping Beauty Transposons

Hemalatha R

Abstract

Sleeping beauty (SB) transposons have an immense role to play in gene therapy. SB can be availed in genetic manipulations majorly in transgene delivery. There are several studies carried in order to analyze the efficacy of sleeping beauty in various vertebrates. This paper deals to educate about the transposons, and the work in progress using sleeping beauty transposons in genetic field.
